WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES UPON A PERSON? – 8/14/2022

Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

 

This power that comes from the Holy Spirit allows you to stand strong for the things of God.

  1. WHAT IS THE POWER OF THE ANOINTING FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT?

The anointing is the supernatural power for supernatural assignments. The anointing is a heavenly electric power. If you are plugged to that power men and women will see you as somebody from another world. The anointing is the liquid power that comes with the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

  1. HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE WALKING IN THE SPIRIT?

Two Ways to Know That You’re Walking in the Spirit 

Galatians 5:24-25 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature (Pride, Anger, Offense, Lying, Immortality Prayerlessness, Rebellion, Lust, Hate Gossiping, Laziness. Hypocrisy,Backsliding), to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

  1. The Spirit of God will always agree with the Word of God. Study the Word of God. It is true, never-changing, its applicability is never-ending, and it is fascinating. …
  2. The Spirit of God will lead you to freedom.  2 Corinthians 3:1717 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  1. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WALK IN YOUR ANOINTING?

Walking in the prophetic anointing also requires us to live a life of consecration, prayer and fasting, so we can maintain the presence of God in our lives. Failure to do this will result in us not being able to accomplish the purpose for which we were created.

  1. HOW DO YOU ACTIVATE THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT? Acts 3:4-7 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Just start walking in it. If you never lay hand on someone and pray…..

How  to Release God’s Anointing?

Luke 4:18-19

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free,
19     and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.

Releasing God’s Anointing, teaches you how to pray with your whole heart to see Healing, Signs, Wonders, and Miracles manifest in your life, and in the lives of others who you pray for.
